NSUK Staff Cooperative and Thrift Society Holds Successful AGM

 The Nasarawa State University, Keffi Staff Cooperative and Thrift Society (NSC&TS) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the University's Assembly Hall. This marks the first AGM under the leadership of the new President, Mr. Tanimu Yakubu.

The meeting highlighted the society's impressive growth, with membership increasing from 281 to 395 active members and savings rising from ₦79,306,700 to ₦96,640,000. The surplus for 2023 was ₦6,833,144.76, indicating significant improvement.

Mr. Yakubu encouraged members to increase their monthly savings to boost dividends. The representative of the Honourable Commissioner for Trade, Industry, and Investment, Mr. Musa Ambi, commended the management committee for their best practices and commendable return on investment.

The meeting adopted the 2023 financial report and declared ₦4,242,555.39 as proposed dividends for 2023.
