NUC Accreditation Team Visits Nasarawa State University for Postgraduate Accounting Programs
Nasarawa State University, Keffi welcomed the NUC Accreditation Team for the appraisal of three postgraduate Accounting programs in the Faculty of Administration.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Saadatu Hassan Liman FELLOW, UNESCO ACLS FIIFPN, officially received the National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Team on Monday, November 25, 2024. The team visited for the accreditation of three postgraduate programs in the Department of Accounting under the Faculty of Administration.
The NUC team was led by Professor Pat Egbunike of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and included Professor M. Shehu Tijjani from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, along with Mrs. Amali Ene, representing the NUC.
The visit marks a significant step in advancing the quality and credibility of postgraduate education at NSUK. The team is expected to conduct a thorough evaluation of the programs, focusing on compliance with NUC standards.
NSUK’s Information and Protocol Unit expressed optimism about the outcomes of the accreditation exercise, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
