The National Universities Commission (NUC) has lauded Aletheia University for its robust academic standards and rapid infrastructural development following a formal institutional assessment visit.
The NUC delegation, led by Deputy Director Uchenna Obidigbo, conducted an extensive evaluation of the university’s administrative systems, academic facilities, and support infrastructure. The visit serves as a key regulatory milestone in ensuring the institution aligns with national benchmarks for higher education.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olukayode Dewumi Akinyemi, received the delegation and reaffirmed the university’s mission to establish a globally competitive, innovation-driven institution. Highlighting the university’s trajectory since obtaining its provisional license in 2023, Professor Akinyemi emphasized that Aletheia is rooted in a culture of excellence and sustainable growth.
During the assessment, the NUC team specifically commended the university on two major fronts:
Infrastructural Foundation: The quality and readiness of physical academic structures.
Digital Innovation: The successful digitalization of the university’s library systems, which the team noted as a clear indicator of a commitment to modern academic excellence.
