The NYSC Benue Digital Onboarders CDS held its Inter-Platoon Debate Competition today at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wannune, Tarka LGA. The event showcased intellectual engagement among the ten platoons, focusing on the topic: "Digital Literacy in the 21st Century: An Essential Ingredient for Inclusive Governance and Effective Leadership."
Platoon 10 emerged as the overall winner, with Platoons 8 and 4 securing the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively.
Dr. Akpem Shedrach, Benue State Team Lead of the Mind the Gap Organization, addressed the Corps Members on the significance of digital skills in modern society. He encouraged them to join the Digital Onboarders CDS group to advocate for digital literacy within their host communities.
Mr. Malu Raphael, the Schedule Officer of the CDS, urged Corps Members to participate in the CDS to boost their productivity and effectiveness.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates and prizes to the winners and other participants, celebrating their achievements and contributions.
