Ogun State Deputy Governor Hosts NOUN Abeokuta Centre Director for Strategic Meeting

Dr. Oyekunle Adegboyega, Director of the Abeokuta Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has conducted a working visit to the office of Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, in Abeokuta.

During the visit, Adegboyega expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the Deputy Governor and outlined NOUN’s mission to provide flexible, affordable, and high-quality education through innovative information and communication technology. He emphasized NOUN’s goal of delivering education directly to the doorstep of every aspiring learner in Ogun State.

In response, Deputy Governor Salako-Oyedele inquired about the role of study centres within an online institution and the rationale for state support of a federal university. She expressed support for NOUN and pledged to advocate for the university.
