According to the calendar, registration for all students will begin on Monday, January 17, 2025, and conclude on Friday, January 27, 2025. Lectures are set to commence on Monday, January 20, 2025, marking the start of academic activities. Departmental, school, and academic board meetings will be held between January 27 and 29 to ensure smooth coordination of academic affairs.
The month of February will feature more administrative activities, with departmental and school board meetings scheduled for February 24 and February 26, respectively. An academic board meeting will take place on February 29, while Ramadan is expected to begin on Sunday, February 9.
In March, orientation for new students is planned for Wednesday, March 5, followed by the matriculation ceremony on Saturday, March 8. Students with carryover courses will begin their second-semester examinations on Monday, March 10. The month will also include another round of departmental, school, and academic board meetings, scheduled for March 19, 20, and 21, respectively. Lectures for the first semester are expected to conclude on Saturday, March 22, with a one-week lecture-free period commencing on Monday, March 24.
First-semester examinations are scheduled to run from Monday, April 7, to Thursday, April 24. The Easter holidays will also be observed, with Good Friday falling on April 18 and Easter Monday on April 20. The month will close with additional board meetings to review academic progress.
May will see the continuation of administrative reviews, including an academic board business committee meeting on Monday, May 27. Auditing exercises for the semester are scheduled from Friday, May 2, to Saturday, May 17, ensuring proper accountability and evaluation of academic records.
The academic board will meet on Wednesday, June 4, to deliberate on the results of the first semester. The second semester is set to officially begin on Monday, June 9, 2025, signaling the transition to another phase of academic activities.
