The Heritage Benue Queens Host Inaugural Benue Queens Conference and Awards 2024 at Benue State University
The THBC Maiden Benue Queens Conference, themed "Celebrating the Uniqueness of the Ideal Benue Girl Child," brought together young girls from secondary and tertiary institutions on November 23, 2024, at Benue State University, Makurdi, to inspire and celebrate their potential.

The Faces (Queens) of THBC successfully organized the inaugural Benue Queens Conference and Awards 2024, held at the Social Sciences Hall of Benue State University, Makurdi, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The event, themed "Celebrating the Uniqueness of the Ideal Benue Girl Child," aimed to empower and inspire young girls while emphasizing the importance of education, self-confidence, and leadership.
Participants, including young girls from secondary and tertiary institutions, enjoyed an array of engaging activities. Highlights of the event included various performances, a Queens parade featuring beauty queens, the crowning of Miss Igbang Excel as the 2024 Face of THBC, and the thrilling Speed Spelling Bee Grand Finale.
A keynote talk was delivered by the guest speaker, Arc. Nguvan Kyenge, who also received the Ideal Girl Child Icon Award for her exemplary contributions to women’s empowerment. Other deserving Benue women were decorated and honored as Benue Ideal Girl Child Icons.
The conference celebrated the immense potential of the girl child, underscoring the critical role of education, mentorship, and leadership in shaping a productive and fruitful future.
The event received immense support from key partners, including Benue Television, Novus Microfinance Bank, Eka A’adu Dickson, Faith Oyita’s The Mindset Series, Farmers Wallet, and other organizations and individuals who contributed to the program’s success.
Organizers expressed their gratitude and promised an even greater edition in 2025.
