Ojukwu University Initiates Collaborations with Polish Embassy
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University takes a significant step towards internationalization as its Acting Vice Chancellor visits the Polish Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, to foster collaborations. This move follows a workshop aimed at deepening the university's international agenda, led by Prof. Nghargbu K'tso. As a result, COOU successfully registers on the European Commission Funding and Tenders Portal (ECFTP), positioning itself to engage in partnerships with program countries and access EU-funded projects and grants.
In a significant stride towards the realization of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Internationalization Agenda, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, FNIPR, embarked on a pivotal visit to the Polish Embassy in Abuja. On Friday, March 8th, 2024, she was warmly received by Her Excellency Joanna Tarnawska, the Ambassador of Poland to Nigeria.
This diplomatic engagement follows a proactive move by COOU, as evidenced by the successful organization of a One Day Workshop on "Deepening the COOU Internationalization Agenda: The Erasmus+ and Other Pathways" held on February 27th, 2024. The workshop, led by Prof. Nghargbu K'tso, provided invaluable insights, setting the stage for the university's foray into global partnerships.
