The Oyo State Government has issued a strong warning to head teachers in public primary schools, advising them to refrain from holding meetings during school hours. This directive was delivered by Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYO-SUBEB), during a school resumption monitoring exercise on Tuesday in Ibadan.

Dr. Adeniran emphasized the importance of adhering to the unified school timetable, stressing that any head teacher found conducting meetings during school hours will face serious disciplinary action. He also appealed to unions and associations within the basic education sector to comply with this new directive.

In his statement, Dr. Adeniran reiterated the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to delivering quality education across public schools in Oyo State.
