PAAU's Prof. Patrick Ukase Honored with Fellowship for Contributions to Historical Scholarship

Professor Patrick Ukase, Director of the Centre for Pre-degree and Diploma Studies and a distinguished scholar in Political History and Development at Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN). The honor was bestowed during the ongoing Conference and Congress of the Society in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Prof. Ukase, who also serves as the Secretary General of the HSN, received the fellowship in recognition of his remarkable academic contributions and dedicated service to the Society. Alongside Prof. Ukase, three other eminent professors were awarded the 2024 Fellowship of the Society, celebrating their collective impact on the field of history.
