Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, demonstrated his unwavering commitment to education and healthcare by presenting a generous donation of N10 million to the College of Nursing Sciences at St. Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital in Onitsha, Anambra.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Obi reaffirmed his dedication to supporting critical institutions, particularly in sectors vital for societal development such as health, education, and the environment. He emphasized the significance of investing in educational facilities like the nursing college, stating, "We need to start contributing our quota to the development of critical institutions like the college of nursing. I am sure that in time to come, this school will move to greater heights."
