The Mbiri Community in lka North East Local Government Area of Delta State has donated 22.5 hectares of Land to University of Delta Agbor.
The Obi of Mbiri, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Alekwe made the official donation when he played host to the University Management led by the Pro.Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Emeritus Prof. Emmanuel Nwanze.
He said the donation was borne out of the desire of the community to contribute towards the growth and expansion of the institution.
The Pro.Chancellor who was accompanied by the University Management team and members of the Governing commended the Mbiri Community and assured them of continued collaboration and synergy towards the rapid growth and development of UNIDEL.
At Mbiri, the delegation also visited the Vocational Education Center where they inspected the different sections of the Centre.
