Eddiong Bassey's academic trajectory began at Caleb International College, Lagos, Nigeria, where he enrolled at the age of 8 and earned his high school diploma in just four years instead of the conventional six. Following this, he underwent a year of homeschooling under his father's guidance.

At the age of 13, Dr. Bassey gained admission to Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Remarkably, he completed his undergraduate studies at the age of 17, graduating with first-class honors and earning the title of the overall best graduating student for the 2013/2014 academic session.
While at Lead City University, Dr. Eddiong Bassey undertook and successfully passed several professional examinations, including those for the Taxation Technician Scheme, Accounting Technician Scheme, and Chartered Institute of Taxation Examinations.

Additionally, he acquired a Master of Research in Social Science Research Methods from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom.
