PLASU notice on resumption of academic activities
Arising from the suspension of academic activities in Plateau State University, Bokkos on Friday, 19th April, 2024, Management has reviewed the situation, vis-a-vis efforts put in place by the Management, the Plateau State Government, Security Agencies and other stakeholders, and decided that the University is to reopen to Students on Thursday, 2nd May, 2024.
The resumption is to be in batches, beginning with 200 and 300 level students who are to resume on Thursday, 2nd May, 2024, while their examinations will continue from Monday, 6th May, 2024.
100 and 400 level students are to resume on Monday, 20th May, 2024 preparatory to continuing their examinations from Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024. The reviewed first semester examination time table is available in the respective departments, faculties and on the University's website: www.plasu.edu.ng
Meanwhile, all students are to TAKE NOTE and COMPLY with the following conditions for resumption:

1. All students are to pay a fine of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00) each as cost of properties damaged during the riot of 19th April, 2024. The procedure for the payment is available on the University website and notice boards
2. Only students who have paid their school fees are to resume and continue with their examinations.
3. Each student is to bring a letter, undertaking to be of subsequent good behavior; witnessed by a traditional ruler not below the status of a District Head.

Students who are not of Plateau State origin are permitted to bring the stated letter from a recognized community leader. A copy of the letter is available on the University's website for download and subsequent processing by each student.
KINDLY NOTE: ALL conditions outlined above are to be STRICTLY adhered to before access will be granted to the University and Examination Halls.
