Police Arrest Four KWASU Students Over Alleged Fatal Assault on Colleague
Four undergraduate students of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, have been apprehended by the police for their alleged involvement in the fatal beating of a fellow student. The Kwara State University (KWASU) community is rocked by a tragic incident as four of its undergraduate students have been detained by the police following allegations of assaulting a fellow student to death. The unfortunate occurrence transpired in one of the private hostels adjacent to the school premises, stirring shock and concern among students and faculty members alike.
According to reports, the victim, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, purportedly incurred the wrath of the suspects for allegedly filming them. Subsequently, the suspects reportedly launched a violent attack on the deceased, resulting in fatal injuries that led to his demise.
A student who spoke on condition of anonymity revealed to Channels Television that the victim succumbed to the severe beating inflicted by his colleagues. The tragic incident has cast a somber cloud over the university community, prompting swift action from law enforcement authorities.
