Prof. Olaniyi Jacob Babayemi Appointed Pioneer Vice Chancellor of FUNATO

The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has announced Prof. Olaniyi Jacob Babayemi as its pioneer Vice Chancellor. Prof. Babayemi, an Okeho-born scholar, is a renowned Animal Scientist and global scholar in animal production. He previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Ibadan.

Prof. Babayemi specializes in animal production and management, as evident from his inaugural lecture titled "The Wonders of Ruminants".

He has published over 145 peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field.

Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, has congratulated Prof. Babayemi on his appointment, expressing confidence that he will provide strategic vision, moral guidance, and academic rigor to lay a solid foundation for FUNATO. Adeoye believes that Prof. Babayemi's leadership will cultivate an environment where students and staff can thrive, collaborate, and contribute to national and global development.
