Professor Haruna Musa Takes Over as Bayero University 12th Vice-Chancellor

Professor Haruna Musa, a renowned expert in Polymer Chemistry, has officially taken over as the 12th Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University Kano (BUK). He succeeds Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, who completed his tenure as the 11th Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Musa was appointed by the University Council on July 3, 2025, and assumed office on August 18, 2025. In his inaugural address, he outlined his vision for the university, emphasizing transparency, inclusivity, and dedication to elevating BUK's global standing.
