Professor Umaru Pate Donates Laptops to University of Maiduguri Mass Communication Department

Professor Umaru Pate, Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Kashere and President of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria, has donated 20 laptops to the Department of Mass Communication at a university. The donation was made to support the newly established Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, expressed gratitude for Professor Pate's generosity and assured that the university will provide necessary support to the faculty. Professor Pate emphasized that the donation will significantly boost the faculty's activities and pledged to facilitate additional support to equip students with qualitative journalism and communication skills.

The department's representative thanked Professor Pate for the donation and assured that the laptops will be utilized judiciously to impart essential 21st-century knowledge and skills to students.
