FULafia Considers Partnership with Lawalson Pharmaceuticals on Campus Projects

The Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, has commenced discussions with Lawalson Pharmaceutical and Allied Store Nigeria Limited on a proposed partnership to establish a pharmaceutical store, bakery and sachet water factory on its campus.

Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, reiterated the institution's commitment to partnerships that enhance healthcare delivery, entrepreneurship and staff and student welfare during a meeting with the company's management at the Old Senate Chamber, Permanent Site Campus.

Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Partnerships, Prof. Ibrahim Hassan Ogiri, Kida described the proposal as consistent with the university's vision of providing quality services while attracting investments that support sustainable development.

He assured the firm's delegation of the university's cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of the projects, expressing optimism that the partnership would be beneficial to both parties.

The Managing Director of Lawalson Pharmaceutical and Allied Store Nigeria Limited, Engr. Subaru Omisi, said the proposed facilities would improve access to quality pharmaceutical services, safe drinking water and other essential products, while creating employment and business opportunities within the university community.
