RETRIDOL Announces Arboleda, Adegbola as Discussants for September ODL Discourse
The event will feature Prof. Antonio Martinez-Arboleda, Co-director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Leeds, UK, and Dr. Tunde Adegbola, Executive Director of the African Languages Technology Initiative (Alt-i), as panellists.
The Regional Training & Research Institute for Distance and Open Learning (RETRIDOL) at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has finalized preparations for the September 2024 edition of its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) monthly discourse.
The lecture, titled "Exploring the Role of AI in Promoting Indigenous Languages in Teaching and Learning," is scheduled for Monday, September 30, 2024. The event will feature Prof. Antonio Martinez-Arboleda, Co-director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Leeds, UK, and Dr. Tunde Adegbola, Executive Director of the African Languages Technology Initiative (Alt-i), as panellists.
The virtual session will begin at 11:00 AM West Central Africa Time (WAT).
