SAZU Vice-Chancellor Celebrates Bauchi State at 50; Commends Governor Bala Mohammed’s Educational Vision

 The Vice-Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Professor Fatimah Tahir, has extended warm felicitations to the Government and citizens of Bauchi State as the "Pearl of Tourism" celebrates its Golden Jubilee.

Marking the 50th Anniversary of the state's creation, Professor Tahir described the milestone as a period of "deep reflection" on five decades of resilience, cultural heritage, and socio-economic progress. She noted that Bauchi State remains a beacon of peace and tolerance within the Nigerian federation.

In a statement signed by the University’s PRO, Auwal Hassan, the Vice-Chancellor specifically lauded His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, for his transformative leadership. She highlighted the Governor’s unwavering commitment to:

"Sa’adu Zungur University remains proudly rooted in Bauchi State, committed to contributing meaningfully to its social and economic transformation," the statement read.
