President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his capacity as the Visitor to the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has announced the appointment of new members to the university's Governing Council. Leading the council as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman is Sir Steve Adehi, a distinguished Legal Practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

The appointment of Sir Steve Adehi, known for his expertise in legal matters, reflects President Tinubu's commitment to ensuring effective governance and leadership at FUTA. Joining Sir Adehi as external members of the council are Hon. Austin Onyedebelu, Pastor Adebayo Sikiru Raji, Mrs. Isoken Palmer, and Dr. Jason Baba Kwaghe.
