Skyline University Nigeria Hosts Media Roundtable on the Future of Journalism in the Age of AI

Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) recently hosted a media roundtable for its Mass Communication students, focusing on the theme "The Future of Journalism in the Age of AI." The event, held on December 16, 2024, aimed to expose students to industry practices and opportunities available to them while in school.

The panel session was moderated by Mr. Bashir Ibrahim, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at SUN. The panelists included Mr. Ibrahim Giginyu, Assistant Regional Editor at Daily Trust Newspaper; Mr. Matalo Donan, Chief Operating Officer at Studio 7 Media; and Khadija Sanusi Bashir, a media consultant.

The roundtable discussion provided a platform for students to engage with industry experts and gain insights into the evolving landscape of journalism in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
