Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) recently held a two-day orientation program for its newest staff members. The event, which took place from May 23rd to 24th, 2024, at the university's conference hall, aimed to familiarize new hires with the institution's culture and operations.

Professor Ajith Kumar V. V., the Vice-Chancellor of SUN, delivered the opening remarks. He expressed his appreciation to the new staff for choosing SUN, highlighting the university's reputation for attracting talented professionals both domestically and internationally. He further emphasized SUN's position as the leading university in internationalization according to the National Universities Commission rankings for 2021-2022.

Mr. Ahmed Muhammed Abdullahi, the university registrar, explained that the orientation program served to introduce new staff to SUN's unique way of working. This, he believes, will empower them to excel in their roles and contribute their best professional expertise.



Adding to this, Ms. Sarada Maganti, the Director of Government and Private Relations (DOPR), spoke about SUN's esteemed reputation and its extensive network of collaborations with various public and private institutions within Kano State and beyond. She emphasized the university's commitment to adhering to national educational policies, ensuring it delivers a solid foundation in value-based education.

Other speakers at the orientation program included Mr. Trimisiyu Omotayo Lawal, Head of the Sports Department, Mr. Musa Muhammad, and Mr. Abdulganiyyu Abdulkareem, an executive from the Centre for Continuing Learning.
