Sokoto State University (SSU) has announced the availability of its Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who selected SSU as their first choice and achieved a minimum score of 140 in the UTME are now eligible to apply online starting August 7, 2024.

Direct Entry applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their relevant A’level certificates, such as Diploma, NCE, or IJMB, onto the SSU portal. Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates must also upload their O’level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). A minimum of five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings, is required.

SSU Post UTME Screening Procedure:

  1. Visit the SSU Portal: Go to the university’s online portal to begin the application process.
  2. Login Details: Enter your JAMB Registration Number as both the username and password.
  3. Update Information: Click on ‘Update Data’ to enter your phone number and email address.
  4. Payment: Generate and print a screening payment invoice for ₦2,000 (excluding transaction charges). Payment can be made at any commercial bank using the invoice, or via online payment options by clicking ‘Pay Now’. After payment, return to the portal to update your biodata, academic records, and other necessary information.
  5. Print Acknowledgment Slip: Print your acknowledgment slip and payment receipt.
  6. Online Screening: Note that the screening process is entirely online; no physical Post-UTME exam is required.
