SULE LAMIDO UNIVERSITY SUG ADVOCATES FOR STUDENT CONCERNS IN MEETING WITH NEW VICE CHANCELLOR
In a proactive move to address students' concerns and advocate for their needs, the Students Union Government (SUG) of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Vice Chancellor on January 29, 2024.

Establishment of Sturdy Chairs: President Rt. Hon. Sulaiman SP highlighted the importance of providing stable chairs across lecture rooms to enhance students' comfort during academic sessions.
Abubakar Rasheed Hall Hygiene: Immediate action was urged to address the unsatisfactory hygiene conditions at Abubakar Rasheed Hall, a vital aspect of student living.

Tricycle Drivers Integration: The SUG requested the seamless integration of tricycle drivers into university operations, emphasizing the need for a permanent transport station within the campus.
Special Orientations for Fresh Students: The SUG stressed the importance of conducting special orientations for fresh students, ensuring they are well-acquainted with university life and objectives.
Allocation of Permanent Bus Stop: Commending the commencement of services on January 29, 2024, the SUG sought the continued allocation of permanent bus stops in key locations like the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management and Computing and Information Technology.
Establishment of Permanent Cafeteria: Acknowledging the importance of catering to students' needs, the SUG urged the establishment of permanent cafeterias within the university premises.
Sport Activities Collaboration: Recognizing the role of sports in students' well-being, the Vice Chancellor called for collaboration between the University's Sport Unit and the SUG Director of Sport to ensure the smooth running of sports activities.
