Taraba State University, Jalingo, marked a significant milestone with the successful accreditation of 53 academic programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC) by hosting its inaugural Vice-Chancellor Golf Tournament. The event, named after the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, was organized by the University's Sports Directorate as a tribute to his leadership and commitment to excellence.

Held at the DDI Golf Course in Jalingo, the tournament brought together golfers of varying skill levels in a display of sportsmanship and community spirit. It provided an opportunity to foster unity, strengthen relationships, and enhance communication among staff and students in a relaxed and vibrant setting.

Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Dr. Ahmad Baba, graced the tournament and commended the participants for their enthusiasm and skill.
