Taraba State University Vice-Chancellor Recieves Commissioner For Heritage And Eco-Tourism

The Vice - Chancellor, Taraba State University, Jalingo Prof. Sunday Paul Bako with other Management team of the University received a delegation from the Taraba State Ministry of Heritage and Eco-Tourism at the DDI Senate Building on Tuesday 26th September, 2023. 

Speaking on the reason for the visit, the Honourable Commissioner for Heritage and Eco - Tourism Mr. Joseph A. Nagombe said, the delegation has come to discuss modalities on how the Ministry would partner with the institution to promote eco- tourism such that priority would be place on environmental conservation and sustainance of the overall health and well-being of the University Community and the state at large.

Responding to the august visitors, the most promising Vice-Chancellor of the University appreciated the Commissioner, H.E Leslie Rogers and other members of the delegation for the support in the recent football tournament which he single handedly sponsored between the Federal University, Wukari and Taraba State University, Jalingo and fortunately  TSU Football Team came out Victorious. He said the University's doors are widely open to healthy engagements like this, starting that one of vision for the University is to taking it to the limelight and give it real sense of world-class institution  and that is he is not going back on the digitalization of the University.

He finally encouraged the commissioner to always approach the University as his management will give the ministry unconditional support and appreciated H.E Dr. Agbu Kefas for chosen education and the University as a major priority and promised to support the governor's policies which he described as human oriented and the best for the state at the moment.
