TASUED to Resume Suspended Second Semester Examinations on Tuesday
Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in Ijagun will resume its suspended second semester examinations on Tuesday, July 9th. The exams were initially halted due to the killing of a final-year student, Ahmed Fabiyi, by suspected cultists.
The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, has announced the resumption of the previously suspended second semester examinations starting on Tuesday, July 9th. This directive was issued in a statement signed by the University Registrar, Mr. Dapo Oke, and made available to the public.
The second-semester examinations were initially suspended following the tragic killing of a final-year student, Ahmed Fabiyi, by suspected cultists on the university campus. The suspension aimed to address security concerns and ensure the safety of students and staff.
Mr. Oke mentioned that the rescheduled dates for the examinations that were supposed to take place on July 4th, 5th, and 8th, 2024, will be announced by the appropriate university authorities later this week. He assured the university community that adequate security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of lives and property, thereby preventing any future security breaches.
