TETFund Commissions State-of-the-Art International Conference Centre at Bayero University Kano

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has commissioned a multi-purpose International Conference Centre (ICC) at Bayero University, Kano (BUK), marking a significant milestone in the institution's infrastructural growth.

The centre, which was conceived over 15 years ago by former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, was commissioned on August 14, 2025.

The commissioning of the ICC cements BUK's position as a leading academic hub in Nigeria. The university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sagir Adamu Abbas, expressed delight over the completion of the long-abandoned project, noting that it will generate revenue and provide a modern facility for local and international conferences .
