The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has reaffirmed its commitment to funding Nigerian Army institutions. TETFund Executive Secretary Sonny Echono made this pledge during a visit to Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa in Abuja on Friday.

TETFund will enhance its collaboration on research related to security and defense industries. The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Musa, expressed gratitude for the Fund’s support, highlighting its impact on the Nigerian Defence Academy and other Army institutions. He also discussed the potential benefits of restricting arms imports, including boosting local arms production and creating jobs.
