Tinubu's Daughter Appointed Ambassador for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education

Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu and the Iyaloja-General of Lagos, has been appointed as an Ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education. The announcement was made by the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Muhammad Sani Idris, during a visit to Tinubu-Ojo’s residence in Lagos.

According to the Commission’s spokesperson, Nura Muhammad, the appointment was based on Tinubu-Ojo's longstanding commitment to social causes and her active involvement in community development. Her efforts in providing resources for underprivileged groups, including market women and out-of-school youth, played a significant role in her selection.

Idris highlighted Tinubu-Ojo’s passion for supporting disadvantaged communities, stating that she is uniquely positioned to raise awareness and mobilize support for educational initiatives targeting Almajiri children and other vulnerable populations across Nigeria. He commended her dedication to social causes, noting that her involvement would enhance the Commission's efforts to improve education access for at-risk children.

Expressing her gratitude for the appointment, Tinubu-Ojo emphasized her commitment to advancing education for Nigeria’s most marginalized children.
