Graduating as the second-best student in her class, Lyric's journey to success is marked by determination, resilience, and a commitment to overcoming obstacles. As the first person in her family to attend high school, Lyric dedicated her senior year to excelling academically and engaging in extracurricular activities despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite facing economic challenges and living apart from her mother for a period, Lyric remained focused on her educational goals. With the desire to attend Drexel University, she turned to the Tallo Organization for financial assistance and applied for their $10,000 scholarship opportunity.
