UDUS Apologizes for Prolonged Power Outage, Assures Community of Restoration Efforts
The Kaduna Electric Distribution Company has been notified of the issue and is working around the clock to replace the faulty component and restore normal power supply as soon as possible.

The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has issued an apology to the university community for the ongoing power outage affecting the main campus.
In a statement released by the Department of Estate & Municipal Services on September 13, 2024, the university attributed the outage to a short circuit fault on the 33KV MD panel meter at the power house, which has disrupted power supply from the national grid for several days.

The university management expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the outage and assured the community that efforts are underway to resolve the problem promptly.
