The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has issued an apology to the university community for the ongoing power outage affecting the main campus.

In a statement released by the Department of Estate & Municipal Services on September 13, 2024, the university attributed the outage to a short circuit fault on the 33KV MD panel meter at the power house, which has disrupted power supply from the national grid for several days.
