Sanusi Kamaldeen successfully defended his PhD thesis, titled "Transgenerational Study of the Metabolic Outcomes of Parental Zinc Deficiency in Drosophila melanogaster." This groundbreaking research explores the impact of zinc deficiency on metabolic outcomes across generations.

Kehinde Ahmad Adeshina defended his MSc thesis, titled "A Study of the Transgenerational Inheritance of Insulin Resistance in Offspring of White Rice-Fed Fruit Flies." This study investigates the inheritance of insulin resistance in offspring exposed to a high-carbohydrate diet.
