Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Announces Third Semester Programme for Students with Carryovers

Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic has introduced a third semester repeat programme for students with carryovers and spillovers. This initiative targets students who have not completed their courses due to various reasons, including illness, course overload, missed exams, disciplinary actions, or deferred sessions.

The programme, set to begin with the 2022/2023 academic session students, will run concurrently with the 2023/2024 session. Students eligible for this programme include those with failed courses, medical absences, course withdrawals, exam absences, and disciplinary issues.

To enroll, students must complete a form available from the programme coordinator at the College of Administrative and Business Studies (CABS) and obtain endorsements from their Heads of Departments before submission.

Engr. Salihu Bala Tajiri, Coordinator of the programme, along with Mallam Nasiru Tukur, Assistant Coordinator, will oversee the implementation and promotion of the programme. They encourage faculty and students to support and participate in the initiative to ensure academic progress and completion.
