Gombe State University has denied knowledge of a circulating announcement about a purported conference allegedly being hosted at the institution. In a statement by the Public Relations Officer, Hadu Naphtali Ligari, the University clarified that it has not approved any such event and efforts to verify its authenticity have been unsuccessful.

In an official statement signed by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Hadu Naphtali Ligari, the Management categorically stated that it has no knowledge of such an event and has not approved any related activities.
The University further disclosed that attempts to verify the authenticity of the alleged conference through the provided phone numbers and email addresses have been unsuccessful. This has raised doubts about the credibility of the purported event.
As a result, the University Management has urged staff, students, and the general public to disregard any notices or communications about the conference. “We wish to stress that this is not an event the University is aware of, and we doubt its authenticity and credibility,” the statement read.
