UNIDEL Commences 2025/2026 Second Semester Examinations Across Multiple ICT-Enabled Centres
The University of Delta, Agbor, UNIDEL, has commenced its Second Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session, with students from 100-level to 400-level writing both Computer-Based Tests, CBT, and conventional pen-on-paper examinations.
The examinations began at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, across several accredited venues, including the Centre of Excellence, the newly commissioned ultra-modern ICT Complex, the Faculty of Computing, and other designated halls on the university’s three campuses.
Students were seated in their assigned centres under strict supervision, and the exercise was reported to be orderly, coordinated, and hitch-free.
A key highlight of this semester’s exercise is the effective deployment of multiple ICT-enabled centres, which significantly reduced congestion and ensured the smooth conduct of CBT examinations. The arrangement marks an improvement over previous semesters and reflects UNIDEL’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance academic assessment and service delivery.
The simultaneous use of digital and traditional examination formats demonstrates the university’s balanced approach to innovation and inclusiveness, ensuring a fair, seamless, and efficient experience for students across disciplines.
Speaking during the exercise, the Head of Exams and Records, Mr. Fidelis Aghagbon, advised students to adhere strictly to the examination timetable, report to campus as scheduled, and avoid loitering within the university environment. He stressed the need for discipline and compliance with examination regulations to ensure a successful and orderly examination period.
