Speaking at the November edition of the Staff Training for Administrative, Executive, and Secretariat Cadre, Omagbemi emphasized the importance of professionalism and respect for authority.
"It's unfortunate that some staff still adhere to outdated administrative practices," Omagbemi noted. "The university will not tolerate indiscipline and indolence.

1. Omagbemi commended the Human Resource and Senate Units for their exceptional performance.
2. Guest lecturer Mr. Philip Igumbor delivered an insightful presentation on the University Governing Council, focusing on its structure, composition, and functions.
3. Igumbor also addressed issues related to appointments, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Omagbemi stressed the significance of the monthly training, encouraging staff to:
1. Take their work seriously
2. Respect constituted authorities and colleagues
3. Embrace personal discipline
4. Engage actively in the training for knowledge sharing and growth
