UNIDEL VC warns Staff against indecent dressing

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke heartily welcomes all the staff back to work after the Eid-El Maulud Holiday, Myschoolnews report.

She wishes to remind them that it is only the students who are on Sessional Break. She, therefore, enjoins the staff to always be regular and punctual to work as usual.

The Vice-Chancellor has, however, observed with disappointment the unbecoming and reprehensible dressing pattern of some staff of the University.

According to her, in a University that seeks to be a leading light, staff cannot be dressing in a manner that does not confer honour and dignity. Universities, as she explains, are defined by a cosmopolitan character of decency and sophistication.

"We must realize that it is what we wear that defines our personality and authority. Let it be clearly understood that the staff of UNIDEL on duty are expected to wear, not flamboyant or casual attire, but to dress with a high sense of moderation, maturity and discipline". She said.

She, therefore, solicits the cooperation of all staff in this regard while urging them to start preparing for the commencement of the 2023/2024 Session.
