UNIJOS to Host ECOBIO Initiative for Environmental Sustainability

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) is calling on its Biochemistry students with a passion for environmental sustainability to join the ECOBIO initiative, a program focused on improving waste management and conservation within the university community. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in meaningful research and contribute to a greener campus.

Participants in the ECOBIO initiative will have the chance to:

1. Conduct field research to analyze the composition of waste generated on campus.

2. Engage in data collection to support the development of effective waste management and recycling strategies.

3. Acquire hands-on experience in biochemistry analysis and waste conservation techniques.

To be eligible for participation, students must meet the following requirements:

1. A strong enthusiasm for environmental sustainability and waste management.

2. Availability to participate during the research phase, which runs from October 19th to November 7th, 2024.
