The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Centre for Business Law and Policy is hosting a panel discussion on the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, titled “One Year of the Data Protection Act and Five Years of Regulating Data Processing in Nigeria: Prospects and Challenges.”

The Centre for Business Law and Policy at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold the CIL Dialogues’ Panel Discussion on the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. The event, themed “One Year of the Data Protection Act and Five Years of Regulating Data Processing in Nigeria: Prospects and Challenges,” will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Ayo Ajomo Hall of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) at 10:00 am.

Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner and CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), will deliver the keynote address. Mr. Olabisi Makanjuola, Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, Lagos Branch, will serve as Chairperson. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Adekemi Omotubora, an expert in data protection and emerging technologies.
