The University of Lagos (UNILAG) celebrated the second edition of "UNILAG in Town" with grandeur and cultural significance on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Hosted under the Gown to Town initiative by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, the event featured a captivating stage play titled "Love and Colours in Delphi" at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The stage play, a significant improvement over its debut, showcased the creative prowess of UNILAG students from various faculties, particularly the Creative Arts Department. Professor Ogunsola emphasized that "UNILAG in Town" is pivotal in discovering and promoting talents within the university community.
Highlighting the event's purpose, Professor Ogunsola underscored its role in reviving cultural appreciation, moral values, and indigenous virtues through storytelling. She expressed nostalgia for her formative years at the University of Ibadan, emphasizing the role of stage performances in societal awareness and moral education.

"Love and Colours in Delphi," produced by Associate Professor Dr. Sheyi Kenny and directed by Abdulwali Balogun, weaves a narrative encompassing themes of love, humility, conspiracy, redemption, and the triumph of love over adversity. The stage play attracted a diverse audience of arts enthusiasts across different demographics, reflecting its broad appeal and cultural significance.
