UNILAG Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Marks 10th Anniversary with Events Focused on Drug Misuse Awareness

UNILAG Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (UNILAG Pharmacy), the leading pharmaceutical service provider on the University of Lagos campus, is set to celebrate its 10th year of exceptional service delivery with a series of engaging events from April 23 to 25, 2024.

The theme for this milestone celebration is “Drug Misuse, a Looming Menace,” highlighting the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of drug misuse in our society.

Kicking off the celebration on Tuesday, April 23, is a Walk against Drug Misuse, starting at 9:00 a.m. from the Senate Building. This event aims to rally the University community and the general public to join hands in combating the menace of drug misuse.

Later in the day, at 12 noon, there will be a special talk on Unilag 103.1fm focusing on the theme “Drug Misuse; a Looming Menace.” This interactive session will provide insights into the risks associated with drug misuse and promote responsible medication practices.

Continuing the celebration on Wednesday, April 24, and Thursday, April 25, UNILAG Pharmacy will offer Free Health Checks from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily at its premises. This initiative aims to encourage the University community and the public to prioritize their health and well-being by taking advantage of these complimentary services.
