Admission Requirement For Certificate Programmes
To be eligible for admission into the programme, candidates should satisfy the following requirements:
- Candidates with three (3) credits at not more than Two sittings to include English Language at the Senior Secondary School Certificate, West African School Certificate, General Certificate of Education or National Examination Council (NECO) Certificate.
- Candidates with merits in three (3) subjects including English Language at not more than two sittings in Grade II Teacher's Certificate.
- Mature candidates who are thirty years old and above with three (3) credits which must include English Language.
- Candidates with five credits passes in WASC, NECO or GCE or TCII with at least a pass English.
There shall be a qualifying examination or interview for all applicants to be conducted by the University through the Centre for Cultural Studies and creative Arts
Duration of the programme
Our certificate programmes are available on a full-time, part-time or executive/professional basis:
- Full-time: The full-time programme shall run for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
- Part-time: The part-time programme shall run for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 18 months.
- Executive/Professional: The Executive/Professional programme shall be on full-time basis, which will run for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. (This category of students shall be open to military, para-military and top civil servants).

Admission Requirement For Diploma Programmes
To be eligible for admission into the programme, candidates should satisfy the following requirements:
- Candidates with four (4) credits at not more than Two sittings to include English Language at the Senior Secondary School Certificate, West African School Certificate, General Certificate of Education or National Examination Council (NECO) Certificate
- Candidates with merits in four (4) subjects including English Language at not more than Iwo sittings in Grade II Teacher's Certificate.
- Mature candidates who are thirty years old and above with three (3) credits which must include English Language.
- Candidates with five credits passes in WASC, NECO or GCE or TCII with at least a pass in English.
- NOTE: There shall be a qualifying examination or interview for all applicants to be conducted by the University through the Centre for Cultural Studies and creative Arts.
