UNILORIN Announces Vacancy For the Post of (NACHRED) Director

The National Centre for Hydropower Research and Development (NACHRED) is a Research Centre of the Energy Commission of Nigeria. It is located at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
The main mandate of the Centre is to conduct research and training that will enhance the development, management and operation of hydropower systems in Nigeria.

The tenure of the Director of the Centre lapsed on January 31st January, 2024, hence the need to appoint a new Director.
Prospective applicant for the post of Director should be a Professor with Ph.D degree in Engineering or Sciences specializing in energy or energy related areas.

Candidates from the University of Ilorin whose background is in Water Engineering and River Hydraulics would have added advantage.
Interested applicants are required to submit twenty (20) copies of application with Curriculum Vitae to the Registrar, University of Ilorin, P.M.B. 1515, Ilorin, Nigeria. The sealed envelope should be marked “DIRECTOR, NACHRED”. The closing date for submission of application is Friday, 5th July, 2024.
