UNILORIN Begins 2025/2026 Hostel Allocation Exercise

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 hostel allocation exercise for students.

In a bulletin released on Monday, September 29, 2025, and signed by the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alex Akanmu, the university stated that the allocation would be conducted online through students’ portals.

According to the schedule, returning students will ballot for bed spaces on Friday, October 3, 2025, while fresh students will participate on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

The university advised all students to ensure full payment of their charges as a prerequisite for hostel allocation. It further stressed that bed spaces are neither transferable nor for sale, urging students to strictly comply with the laid-down guidelines.

The Student Affairs Unit reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and fair process in ensuring equitable access to accommodation facilities.
