The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence at the 8th International U6+ Consortium of African Universities held in South Africa. The event, which took place from September 10-12, 2024, at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, brought together top educational leaders to explore the theme "Innovation for Sustainable Development and Transformation in Africa."

UNILORIN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN, was among the esteemed participants, joining a high-profile delegation that includes the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, CON, and Vice-Chancellors from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Kwara State University, and other U6+ universities.
