On October 30, 2024, Rasheed Afees Opeyemi, along with fellow senators from the Students' Union Senate Council at the University of Ilorin, made a significant visit to the Kwara State House of Assembly. 

The primary objective of this visit was to observe the plenary session of the assembly. The student legislators aimed to gain valuable insights into the legislative processes and procedures, enriching their understanding of governance and policy-making.
