UNIMAID Department of Microbiology Hosts 2nd Colloquium

The University of Maiduguri's Department of Microbiology recently held its 2nd colloquium, themed around advancing knowledge and collaboration in the field.

The event featured presentations by renowned experts, including Dr. Hassana Kyari Manga, Dr. Omomowo Olawale, and Dr. Musa Ibn Abbas.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Laminu Mele, commended the department for its commitment to academic excellence and visibility. He was represented by Prof. Yakubu Mukhtar, Provost of the College of Postgraduate Studies.

The colloquium aimed to foster collaboration and discuss contemporary issues in microbiology. Awards were presented to outstanding Master's students in the department, recognizing their academic achievements.
